Donations are needed for the Wead Library Personal Care Pantry. The library is collecting personal care items
& small household supplies.

Drop items off at our little pantry located near the book drop (parking lot). If the pantry is full, please bring your items to the circulation desk.
Suggested Items include: Baby Wipes,
Body Soap (bar or liquid),
Conditioner,
Deodorant,
Dental Floss,
Detergent,
Diapers,
Disinfectants, First Aid Products,
Hand Soap,
Razors,
Period Products,
Shampoo,
Shaving Cream,
Toothbrush, and
Toothpaste.

The Wead Library will be closed the following days:

New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day (Indigenous Peoples’ Day), Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Emergency Closure: If Malone Central School District schools are CLOSED or go REMOTE due to weather, the Wead library will be CLOSED. Additionally, early closings, cancelled after-school activities, or inclement weather may also impact the library's status. Please call ahead, if there is no live answer, we are closed.
